My name is Colin Rogers, and I am a Principal Security Consultant at Nimbus.
During my working life, I have been lucky enough to work for some fantastic organisations on numerous interesting IT Projects and Programmes. I have worked in many roles across both Architecture and Delivery before deciding to focus on Cyber Security in 2012, although I still enjoy Business, Data and Solution Architecture opportunities which often overlaps with Cyber Security.
I was finally tempted to join Nimbus in 2020 following 18 years as an IT contractor, with an exciting and challenging brief to establish and mature the Nimbus Cyber Security services.
Nimbus has a hard-working yet relaxed culture that has eased the transition from being an IT Contractor to a permanent staff member. In addition, I have been impressed by the way Nimbus have adapted to remote working during the pandemic, which has improved my work-life balance.
Nimbus is a friendly and supportive organisation with plenty of social events for those that enjoy socialising or playing sport.
I look forward to building out our Cyber Security services with existing and new customers and contributing to the growth of Nimbus as an organisation. Additionally, I will be working with internal teams and colleagues to ensure that we continue to operate securely and maintain our Cyber Essentials Plus certification as an organisation.
